Reading Officially Dedicates New School

Reading School District held its official dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony of our new PK-12 school on Thursday, November 7. The program featured several speakers including Nathan Jones, Project Manager from OFCC; Reading senior, Nate Grant; and Reading Middle School teacher Mark Griffen. Nate and Mr. Griffen did an outstanding job of sharing what this new school means to our Reading students, teachers, staff, and community.

The program also featured performances from our talented choir and band and was capped off by the ribbon cutting by students who represented each grade level from kindergarten through seniors. The ribbon was cut by two seniors, symbolic of the first class who will graduate from the new school, and a kindergarten student to represent the first class to go all the way through the new school.

Thank you to the Reading Community for making this beautiful building a reality!
