Reading Community City School District will be holding its annual Veterans Day Breakfast on Monday, November 11, 2019, 810 E. Columbia Avenue.
Veteran’s Day Program
8:00 a.m. - Breakfast multi-purpose room
9:00 a.m. - Ceremony honoring our veterans in cafeteria (grades 9-12)
10:00 a.m. - Veterans visit classrooms
In addition, students are asked to please wear the following colors the week of November 11-15, in honor of our Veterans.
Monday-wear RED, WHITE, and BLUE to show our support for our visiting veterans.
Tuesday- wear YELLOW. The Yellow Ribbon has been used for over 100 years to show
support of those in the armed forces.
Wednesday-wear RED which signifies hardiness and valor.
Thursday-wear WHITE which signifies purity and innocence.
Friday-wear BLUE which signifies vigilance, perseverance, and justice.
