Your Reading Community City School District Food Services Team is excited to welcome back students to the cafeteria in a few short days.
The great news is that all students will remain free for the entire 20-21 school year. To accommodate all the students of Reading Community Schools, we will provide breakfast, lunch, and remote meals in a manner to best ensure the safety of all students and staff. Please understand our goal is to meet the needs of all those involved.
Breakfast will be a take-home program given to students as they exit the building to be consumed at home the next day before coming to school. We will send packs home on Monday and Thursday. We encourage all students to participate in this breakfast program. Elementary teachers will take a breakfast count in the classroom and the meal pack will be sent to each classroom prior to dismissal.
Lunch will be served and consumed in the cafeteria. At this time, we will not offer self-serve bars for students. Entrées will be served by staff and students will pick up milk, wrapped or cupped fresh fruits and vegetables along the serving line.
Families with students in Remote Learning for the second semester should fill out this form.
