The Reading Middle School Mock Trial team travelled to Columbus Friday, May 12 to compete in the Ohio Center for Law-Related Education’s Mock Trial Showcase. The competition was held at the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center, home of Ohio’s Supreme Court. Members of the team include Kaine Colvard (Top Attorney and Witness Award) Jackson Brubaker (Top Attorney Award), Micah Neely, Liam Stapleton, Lilly Jones, Hannah Cook and James Wooten. The team walked away with 3 of 4 awards and had an amazing experience. The team is coached by Andy Janig and members of Reading High School’s Mock Trial Team including: Grace Longworth, Reem Habli, Krissy Bailey, Alexa Massey, William Moeggenberg, Cameron Millette and Mackenzie Robinson.
