Damian Bose
"Damian's willingness to go above and beyond for our students is truly remarkable. She exemplifies our district's values by her care and concern for others. Damian stepped up and helped out the 4th grade when we needed it, showing her dedication to our school community. She is not just a PE teacher; she is a true educator who has the ability to keep students engaged and excited about physical education. Her innovative teaching methods and enthusiasm have made her classes a highlight for our students. She understands the importance of holistic education and consistently incorporates academics into her PE lessons, ensuring that our students' physical and mental well-being are nurtured simultaneously. Her support of PBIS assemblies and her focus on including every student in activities demonstrate her commitment to creating an inclusive and positive school environment."
Mandy Franklin:
"I am nominating Mandy Franklin for the Blue Devil Award in recognition of her exceptional contributions in and out of the classroom. Mandy's excellence as an educator is evident in her dynamic teaching style. Her selflessness shines through in every interaction, whether she's offering extra support to a struggling student or collaborating with colleagues to enhance our educational programs. She consistently goes above and beyond. Her tireless dedication, coupled with her natural ability to inspire and uplift those around her, makes her an outstanding candidate for the Blue Devil Award. Her presence in our district is a true asset, making her deserving of this recognition. Additionally, Mandy organized the inclusive tutor program in Reading and has been successfully managing it for a few years. It has made such an impact on the progress of my first-grade students! It takes so much communication and organization, and Mandy does it all herself."
