Addie Brown, a senior at Reading High School, has been accepted into the highly competitive JumpStart Paid IT Experience Program. The program, which is a collaborative effort by Procter & Gamble (P&G) and INTERalliance of Greater Cincinnati, officially starts today.
Addie, who is at a crossroads in deciding between a career in engineering and IT, sees this opportunity as a critical step in understanding the IT industry. The JumpStart program has become known for its robust training and hands-on experience, pays participants a competitive wage, and offers extensive learning opportunities in the IT sector.
The program, which runs from January 16 through March 6, is designed to provide participants with essential skills and experiences, preparing them for potential internships in leading companies. Addie's participation in this program could open doors to further paid internships at P&G, GE, or Xavier University.
