Exciting day in Environmental Science with Ms. Tami Burns! Our students stepped into the role of environmental scientists, conducting water quality tests on Mill Creek. They measured dissolved oxygen levels, conductivity, and water temperature.
They also went on a nature walk and delved into the world of macroinvertebrates. Each student had the chance to collect and identify various creatures, helping us assess the health of the Mill Creek Watershed.
Such hands-on experiences provide invaluable lessons about the importance of our local ecosystems.
