The Middle School Mock Trial team had an incredible day at OCLRE’s Showcase at the Ohio Judicial Center in Columbus on Friday. The young squad posted convincing victories over Harding and Geno Middle Schools. Gio Escobedo walked away with a witness and an attorney award, Kaitlyn Kane added an attorney award and Kaine Colvard also won a best witness award. Layla Bayes, Alastor Hoffman, Jackson Brubaker and James Wooten added incredible performances as well. The team is coached by their high school counterparts including:
Jackson, Kaine and James along with Cameron Millette, William Moeggenberg, Lilly Jones, Hannah Cook and Kiersten Kleehamer. With these amazing performances, the future of the Mock Trial program looks very bright. The team next competes in the exclusive Mock On Tournament of Champions June 1st and 2nd.
