While many students across the tri-state switched out their chromebooks and textbooks for flip flops and swim trunks, members of the Reading High School Mock Trial team went right back to work. They competed in the exclusive Mock On International Tournament of Champions. The competition took place via zoom June 1 and 2 and included teams from 12 States and 3 countries. Reading mockers faced teams from Los Angeles, Seattle, Miami, Richmond Va. and Guangzhou, China. Reading was the only team representing Ohio in the tournament. The team consisted of Sophomores William Moeggenberg, Cameron Millette, Kiersten Kleehamer, Lorena Zander, Mouhamadou Ndiaye, and freshmen Kaine Colvard, James Wooten, Lilly Jones and Jackson Brubaker. Moeggenberg captured the tournament's top witness award with a perfect 20 ranks and Colvard nearly captured a top attorney award.
