Important happenings this week:
Jr. High fall sports come to an end this week with Jr. High Cross Country competing in the All-City meet Monday at Colerain High School, and our Jr. High Football team taking on Taylor on Thursday at 4:30pm at Vetran's Memorial Stadium. With a win on Thursday, our Jr. High Football team will finish the season undefeated and win the CHL title.
At the High School level, Football is entering Week 9 of the regular season and will be on the road this Friday as they take on Taylor at 7pm. The JV team will then host Taylor on Saturday with their last home game of the year. The Blue Devils are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, and a win this Friday would solidify our chance of making the playoffs.
Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Cross Country, and Volleyball all enter the post-season this week. Volleyball takes on Cincinnati Christian on Wednesday at Norwood at 5pm. Girls Soccer travels to McNicholas High School on Thursday to take on the Rockets at 7pm. Cross Country runs in the District Meet on Saturday at Voice of America Park, boys run at 12:30pm and girls run at 1:00pm. Boys Soccer take on the winner of Wyoming and Norwood Saturday, right now the game is scheduled at 7pm, but may move to earlier in the day.
Remember that everyone needs a ticket for entry to all OHSAA post-season games (including senior citizens) and no passes will be accepted. Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and can be purchased at the gate with cash or online through the link https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets
