Today, juniors and seniors from Reading High School had the exciting opportunity to attend HealthFORCE2024, a dynamic event designed to inspire and educate future healthcare professionals. Held at the Sharonville Convention Center in Cincinnati, HealthFORCE 2024 brought together industry leaders, educators, and students from across the region for a day filled with hands-on learning, career exploration, and networking opportunities. HealthFORCE is an event provided by The Healthcare Collaborative.
Students engaged with cutting-edge medical technologies, participated in workshops led by healthcare professionals, and learned about the wide range of careers available in the health and medical fields. From nursing and pharmacy to biomedical engineering and healthcare administration, Reading students gained valuable insights into the skills and education needed to thrive in these industries.
For many, the highlight of the event was the chance to interact with healthcare practitioners and ask questions about their career paths and experiences. "HealthFORCE opened my eyes to so many different opportunities I didn't even know existed," said one Reading senior.
By attending HealthFORCE 2024, Reading High School students are better equipped to make informed decisions about their futures in healthcare, with many already planning to pursue further studies in medicine, nursing, and related fields.
