Reading Bike Club Showcases Innovation at State Conference

Reading Jr/Sr High School's Bike Club earned prestigious recognition as one of 100 programs selected to present at the Ohio School Board Association (OSBA) Capital Conference Student Achievement Fair in Columbus, Ohio on November 11th.

Led by Ms. Lindsay Welage, club members Brody Overbeck, Delaney Sester, Bayleigh Whitt, and Alex Huizenga demonstrated their bike-building expertise to an audience of superintendents, school board members, staff, and conference attendees. The presentation highlighted the students' hands-on learning experiences from the club's successful inaugural year.

The OSBA Student Achievement Fair celebrates exceptional educational programs that enhance student achievement across Ohio. Selected programs represent innovative initiatives in various fields, including photography, agriculture, environmental science, and transition-to-work programs.
