Reading Schools will host a fundraiser in support of Bruce Watts and the Watts family on Saturday December 21st during the Reading Day of Basketball. Bruce is currently a sophomore at Reading who was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma last Spring towards the end of his freshman school year. Bruce continues to battle this disease and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. This has been a very challenging time for not only Bruce, but the entire Watts family. They are a very close and strong family who have been part of the Reading community and Reading Schools for many years. You can support Bruce and the Watts family throughout the Reading Day of Basketball by purchasing raffle tickets that can be entered to win raffle baskets, purchasing split-the-pot tickets, or making a direct contribution.
The Reading Day of Basketball is an all day event where our High School Boys and Girls Basketball teams will be in action competing against the Indian Hill Braves. The game schedule is:
- Freshmen Boys - 12:30pm
- JV Girls - 2:00pm
- JV Boys - 3:30pm
- Varsity Girls - 5:00pm
- Varsity Boys - 6:30pm
Let's come together to make a difference for Bruce and the Watts family!
