Dear Students, Parents, and Reading Community,

Welcome to Reading Elementary School, part of the Reading Community City School District! As the principal, I am thrilled to introduce you to our dynamic and supportive learning environment, where every student is encouraged to explore, take risks, and pursue their passions.

At Reading Elementary, we are dedicated to creating an atmosphere that is both challenging and nurturing. We firmly believe that strong partnerships between home, school, and the community are essential to the success of our students. When you join Reading Elementary, you become part of our family, and together, we work towards the shared goal of fostering each child’s growth and development.

Our school serves students from preschool through sixth grade, focusing on building a strong foundation for their future educational journey. We understand that elementary years are crucial for both academic and social development. Our approach is centered on the whole child, valuing their social growth just as much as their academic progress. Our dedicated staff is committed to forming meaningful relationships with students and families, as we believe this is key to a successful educational experience.

We value and encourage family and community involvement. There are numerous opportunities to get engaged, whether through volunteering, attending events, or participating in our various programs before, during and after school.
